On June 10, 2008, Ningbo Institute of Measurement and Testing and Ningbo Water Meter Industry Association jointly organized a training course on the publicity and implementation of new national water meter standards and water meter verification regulations. A total of 104 people participated in the study and training, including technical quality leaders and technicians from various counties and urban water meter manufacturers in Ningbo, as well as relevant verification personnel from the Municipal Metrology and Testing Institute.

The training class was presided over by the Deputy Secretary-General of Ningbo Metrology and Testing Society. Gong Zhengmeng, Director of Metrology Department of Municipal Quality Inspection Bureau, and Zhang Shihao, President of Ningbo Water Meter Industry Association made important speeches at the opening ceremony. Instructors include the Zhejiang Institute of Metrology and Measurement Institute, Zhao Jianliang, a senior engineer who will give a lecture on the main content of the new water meter verification regulations JJG162-2007; Zhao Shaoman, the chief engineer of Ningbo Water Meter Co., Ltd. will give a lecture on GBT7781.2.3-2007 new national water meter standards Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, etc. The relationship between technical parameters and how to use and master these parameters; Ye Xiancang, deputy secretary-general of the Water Meter Working Committee of the China Metrology Association, works as the main drafter of the standard and the participant in the drafting of the regulations to talk about the differences between the new and old water meter standards, how to understand the new regulations of flow parameters, Pay attention to the work that should be started from when implementing standards.

The training class was a complete success and received strong support from Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and Zhejiang Institute of Metrology.
